Set in the central highlands of Lanai, the Lodge is one of Hawaii's rare inland hotels. The resort is reminiscent of a fine country estate, or country lodge, with heavy timbers, beamed ceilings and natural stone fireplaces, an extensive collection of Pacific art, as well as a Japanese hillside garden and Hawaiian fruit gardens. Guests can enjoy hunting, horseback riding, Jeep rides, tennis, swimming, croquet, lawn bowling, hiking and all the beach and boating activities (beach at the Manele Bay). A spectacular 18-hole championship golf course, "The Experience at Koele" was designed by Greg Norman.
